Recognizing the need for Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy in adults involves paying attention to a range of subtle yet impactful symptoms. Persistent headaches, particularly those stemming from tension in the jaw and face, may indicate the need for intervention. Additionally, frequent neck and shoulder pain, along with unexplained dental issues such as grinding or clenching, are signals that the orofacial muscles may not be functioning optimally. Observing changes in facial aesthetics, like a receding chin or misaligned bite, can also point to underlying myofunctional issues. Sleep issues of any kind, including but not limited to sleep apnea diagnosis, restless sleep, frequent wakings, grinding/clenching and snoring.

At Northwest Myofunctional Therapy, we want treatment to be accessible to anyone and not to be limited by insurance. That being said Northwest Myofunctional Therapy currently does not file insurance.

However, we DO work with HSA/FSA accounts, offer super bills for reimbursements, and offer customized payment plan options to make treatment as accessible as possible to everyone!
